- Renaissance
Tarot Deck & Book Set by Brian Williams
|
New
|
This
is one of the most beautiful decks I have ever seen! The colors are
muted yet strong which gives it a sort of ethereal quality. It also
has gold ink printing that imparts a luxuriously soft glow to the
cards. The book that comes with the set is an excellent reference,
too, whether you own the Renaissance deck or not. |

Nouveau Tarot by Matt Myers

This is richly colored deck that looks like stained glass. Beautiful
artwork. It would serve especially well as a deck for reading relationship
spreads. See for yourself. --> |

You
can't go wrong with this deck as this is the classic. Although it
is a debatable issue as to whether the Rider Waite is the "original"
tarot deck (since it is hardly provable where the tarot really first
came from), this particular set is called The Original RW because
it is said that these we printed from the original facsimiles of Arthur
Waite. Also follows the original floral card back design. |

Gendron Tarot by Melanie L. Gendron

A
feminine-oriented deck. Lovely pictures on the cards sometimes in
collage style. Although it may be used by the beginner in tarot, it
may be better suited as a second deck or for the reader who already
has some experience with the tarot. |

The
definitive pagan tarot deck. It basically follows the same symbolism
as the traditional Rider Waite except for a few modifications to
fit the pagan/Wiccan belief systems. Must be because it was designed
and illustrated by a Wiccan. Here
is the link to Robin Wood's webpage.
